Know that the Qur’an is the ocean wherefrom the jewels of knowledge and the treasures of understanding are extracted. [Imam Abdullah ibn Alawi al Haddad]

You are more precious than both heaven and earth You know not your own worth. Sell not yourself at little price, Being so precious in God’s eyes. [Mawlana Rumi]

Dhul Nun said, “Patience is to keep away from acts of disobedience to God, to be calm while swallowing pangs of distress, and to show independence even when poverty afflicts you in your daily life.”

Put aside your pride, set down your arrogance, and remember your grave. [Ali radi Allah anhu]

The heart is comforted by true words,just as a thirsty man is comforted by water. [Mawlana Jalal al-Din Rumi (Mathnawī VI, 4276)]

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

Sometimes in order to help He makes us cry
Happy the eye that sheds tears for His sake
Fortunate the heart that burns for His sake
Laughter always follow tears
Blessed are those who understand
Life blossoms wherever water flows
Where tears are shed divine mercy is shown
