Cheat mode
At the options screen, press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Select, Start, Select, Start, Square, Circle, Square, Circle, X(2), Start to unlock all bonuses.

Invincibility
Pause the game, enter the controller options, then press Down, X, Select, Start, Right, Square, Left, Circle, Up, Triangle.

All upgrades
Pause the game, enter the controller options, then press Up, Left, Down, Right, Select, Start, Square, X, Circle, Triangle.

Completion bonuses
Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting to unlock all of Gohan's, Vegeta's, Goku's, and Trunks' forms, as well as Broly, Bardock, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha; and Pendulum Room mode. Successfully complete Story mode on the hard difficulty setting to unlock all sagas up to the Kid Buu saga.

Easy wins

Easy energy blast hits
When fighting a henchmen or Boss, get him within the view of the screen. You can do this when you are on the ground or in the air. Hold Circle when game play slows down and your character starts charging up a blast, then press L1 and put your aiming reticule on your enemy. Press Teleportation (R2). You will teleport directly behind the enemy while you are still charging up. Once you have appeared behind the enemy, immediately release Circle to blast your enemy at point blank range. If you want to be reckless, charge another one after he falls to the ground from the last attack. Teleport behind him and blast him again. You can do this repeatedly. Note: It is easier to do this when the enemy is distracted by charging up his own blast or doing any other attack that he may be trying to perform. Just hit him with this before he can make it successful.

Easy practice
Set the game on two-player mode. Have the second player be Goku or Vegeta. You will win against him because he cannot attack.

Play as same character in Pendulum mode
While at the character selection screen in Pendulum mode, have both players highlight the character you which to be the same as, then press X simultaneously. If done correctly, both should say their names at the same time. Note: The timing must be precise.

Warp Kamekameha
To do a Warp Kamehameha or any Warp Ki attack, when charging it lock on to your opponent and teleport.

Instant Transmission Kamehameha
To do this, Teleport is required. When you are far away from your opponent, lock on to them and start your special technique. Immediately before you launch it, press R2 to teleport directly next to your opponent. A better way to do this is if you have uppercut; hit you opponent into the air, start your technique, and teleport right next to them. By doing this you will have a clear shot and should not miss. This is a great way to defeat Bosses and can be done be anyone.

Turn invisible
To turn invisible you must be fighting a Boss. When the boss punches you into the air and hits you back down, before he slams you back down press X to slam him down instead. Alternately, start charging Ki and teleport. Fire Ki blasts and jumping, all while charging. If you wait long enough you should turn invisible.

Hit Dende
In Tyranny Of Frieza you can hit Dende with Ki balls or a special move.

Protecting Goku
With two players, while one is fighting the Android, have the other person stand in between Goku and Dr. Gero. The Ki Blasts that Dr. Gero shoots should hit the other player instead of Goku. Make sure that they are a short distance away from Goku, as the explosion from taking the Ki Blasts can also hurt him.

Warp finishing move
When locking onto an opponent with any character, while charging for an attack, teleport in front or in back of your opponent and attack.

Goku's finishing move
Press Triangle(5).

Defeating Bosses
When fighting a Boss, have a special move, teleport, and a good combo selected. Run up to the Boss enough to teleport behind them, then do a combo. When he or she gets thrown away, lock on quickly and hurl a special move to cause maximum damage.

Defeating Android 17
To defeat Android 17 in Trunk's Saga, dodge his blasts, then press Punch four times each round.

Defeating Android 18
To defeat Android 18 in Trunk's Saga, dodge her blasts, then press Punch four times.

Defeating Captain Ginyu
When fighting Captain Ginyu, he will dig underground most of the time and attacks from underneath. To avoid this, get up in the air and stay there; Captain Ginyu cannot fly. When you are up in the air, you can charge your Ki or a special move then keep launching attacks at him. He should be defeated after awhile.

Defeating Cell
Once in SS1, do only simple combos with a lot of buttons involved; the more buttons the better. Try using the first two combos that you learn. Note: You must have Combo Breaker. Try not to use Ki moves unless you have to; the longer you must charge, the more open you are to attacks.

Defeating Frieza
When fighting Frieza in Tyranny Of Friezam, he will Shoot Death Balls at you. Either dodge them, or when you are close to him, punch or kick him. He will dodge your Galick Guns by teleporting. Just punch him until Piccolo arrives.

Defeating Vegeta
When fighting Vegeta, stay in the air the entire time. Dodge his Galic Guns. When he uses his other attack, it will only affect you if you are on the ground. While that attack occurs, Vegeta will be vulnerable. Lock on to him with L1 and hold Circle to hit him with a Kamehameha Wave. Keep doing this until he is defeated. You should not lose any health by doing this. Additionally, fly in the air so you do not get hit, then stay in the air. Hold Circle, then when Goku says Kame, release Circle. It will almost always hit him. Also, dodge his moves and get up to him. Keep attacking with Square(2), Triangle(2). Do not stop doing this to prevent Vegeta from guarding. Sometimes he will make a quick guard and start beating you again. Note: He is very fast.

Defeating Nappa with Gohan
Fly while shooting Mesenkos at Nappa. Nappa will eventually start shooting blasts of energy that paralyze you. Quickly dodge them and fire at him.

Defeating Freiza with Goku
When fighting Freiza as Goku, you can only hurt him when you are a Super Saiyan. When he charges up his Death Ball, use the Quick Teleport (if purchased) to get to him and deliver the blows to hurt him or charge up your Super Saiyan meter. Try using only punches and kicks, as he will dodge the Kamehame Wave. It will only hit and hurt him if you are Super Saiyan and if done while he is charging up his Death Ball.

Defeating Perfect Cell with Teen Gohan
Keep hitting him until the Ki bar for Super Saiyan is full. Then, turn Super Saiyan and keep hitting him until you have filled the Ki bar for Super Saiyan 2. Finally, when you turn Super Saiyan 2 attack Cell with Masenko, but first lock on to him with L1. If he teleports behind you, use a coCell

Rival gang reward
Choose any of the gang patrol missions (Apocalypse, Dragon Tail, H-Bombers, Waste Tribe), and defeat all of their marked territories that match their logos to earn 3 experience points.

Easy Hero Points
Play through Story mode and take every boss' picture and any gang members desired, but make sure to leave at least one. After completing Story mode, take any remaining pictures you have not taken to get around 15 Hero Points. Then, save the game and reset your PS2. Load your saved game file and you should hear and see the Villain Photos complete and get another 15 Hero Points. Spend them, save, and repeat the process as many times as desired.

Easy gang eradication
Immediately after you defeat Sandman for the first time in the "Mary Jane's Favorite Band" mission and before you "Meet Mary Jane At The Restaurant", you cannot take off the Black suit. During this time period, which does not end until you start the next mission, you can wear the Black suit without any damage being done to you. Use this time to clear the city of all gang activity. This may take awhile, but it is easier with the Black suit.

Finding Metorite Pieces
While playing as Black suit Spider-Man, you can find the Metorite Pieces (small rock-like objects surrounded by a purple/pink glow) by listening for a pulsating sound. The louder it gets, the closer you are.

Defeating Lizard
You must first defeat Kraven The Hunter. Use the Black suit and it will be easy. You will then catch up with the new and improved Lizard. Stand by a generator and wait until he is about to strike, then dodge. He will hit the generator and shock himself. This will also shock you. Repeat this until you must counter-attack him and ride his back. Use the Left Analog-stick to balance and he will run into one. When the last one shuts off, you must turn it back on. Go over to the switch, and if done quickly enough, press Triangle to turn it back on. Ride his back one more time to defeat him.

Defeating Michael Morbius
When you are trying to open the boarded up windows, if you are far away from him he will do a long jump towards you; it will then take him a few seconds to recover and attack again. Before he jumps, do not stand in the yellow circles. Instead, stand next to the wall opposite the windows. He will now jump to there, recover, etc. While he is recovering, pull down the boards. When he jumps into the light, attack him. Keep doing this until him and his wife's life runs out to complete the level.

Michael Morbius will fly around, etc. When he lines up, use the Spider-Wall to damage him and he will land. Attack him and repeat this strategy.

Defeating Michael Morbius and Shriek
Wait until Michael is about to rush you, then open the window. He will be temporarily weakened. Beat him up. Shriek will heal him, losing some of her health. Repeat this until he dies, and she flees the scene.

Defeating Sandman
In your first encounter with Sandman, do not try to attack him, just stay close to him. Counter-attack him several times on different levels to finally battle him. Unfortunately, you must use the Black suit to damage him. Just keep hitting him until you are prompted to give him a bath. Keep repeating this until you defeat him.

Sandman will create a mini-tornado making it so you cannot hit him. Use your Spidey senses to dodge the flying bars and wait until he throws a tank at you. Press Circle when prompted and send it back at him, allowing you to beat him up. He will start up his tornado again and do some damage. Repeat this until he dies.

The second battle with Sandman is easy. Just dodge when your Spidey senses alert you and run to the yellow circles when they appear. Complete the prompts to throw TNT barrels into Sandman. Eventually Harry will kill him, defeating Sandman.

Defeating Shriek
Shriek has a shield, so do not worry about her. Stand next to a satellite and wait for your Spidey senses to activate. Then, press L2 and dodge to cause her to damage her crystal. Repeat this until she runs away.

In your final encounter with Shriek, she temporarily takes away your Black suit, and figures from your imagination attack you (your loved ones). You can kill them with one hit, but it is pointless. Wait until the Black suit recharges, then switch over, revealing your true enemies. Attack Shriek until she changes you back to the old Spider-Man. Repeat the previous steps and she will collapse.

Defeating the technology person
Dodge him and wait until he shoots missiles at you. Press Circle to send them back. This will cause him to land, allowing you to hit him. Keep doing this until he dies.

Defeating Venom
Before this battle, go to the upgrade menu and make sure you have the melee volley attack; then fight. Depending on your health level, you may or may not want to use the power-up. At first, you can easily jump over Venom, confuse him, and take away some of his health. Keep doing this until his black suit begins to "glow". Now when you jump over him, he will run away. This is a good opportunity to use the melee volley attack on him. Keep hitting him until his "glow" gets bigger and eventually Harry will tell you to knock Venom into the air. He will fall back to the ground just as before, easily confused. Repeat this cycle until his health is really low and you can finish him off.

Use the following steps to defeat Venom the first and second time you face him. When you meet Venom for the first time at the construction site, you must defeat him in under five minutes or Mary Jane will die. An easy way to do this is to defeat Venom in version one. It should be quite easy. Version two is slightly harder, but all you have to do is watch his five punch combo. The last punch is his super punch. After he is done with his combo, beat him up. Repeat this until Venom turns into version three. You cannot do much once he is in his full power. Watch carefully and you should see a flashing symbol. Follow what the game instructs you to do and you should win. This works on both fights.

In the final battle with Venom, it is just the two of you. Repeat the previously listed steps to defeat him. When his "glow" is very high, run over to the metal bars and follow the prompt. This will slowly remove the suit off him, eventually killing him.

Cheat code warning
You should be careful on using cheat codes too frequently until you complete the mission where you save Madd Dogg from jumping off the casino rooftop. The game will prevent you from completing this mission if codes have been used excessively; this number appears to be cheats being used 500 or more times. When this number has been exceeded, Madd Dogg will jump off the roof in a few seconds, making it impossible to save him. Note: If you encounter this problem, enable the "Slow motion" or "Adrenaline effects" codes to get there faster. You still must be quick in order to save Madd Dogg.

Infinite health

To have a stronger car that is much harder to dent and damage, enable the "Deadly vehicle" code, enter a vehicle, then disable the code while you are in the vehicle. Note: This code will eventually wear off if you run into lots of cars with the same vehicle. It runs out faster when the "Destroy all vehicles" code is enabled over thirty times. Also, if you enable this code when inside a vehicle, the vehicle will explode others on contact, but your car will not be "shielded" as it would be if you entered the code before entering the vehicle. Therefore, this results in your vehicle exploding as well. If you do happen to enable this code inside a vehicle, get out, then get back in and it should function normally.

Manual weapon control drive bys in cars
While playing the game, press Up(2), Square, L2, Right, X, R1, Down, R2, Circle. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear. You can now aim and shoot at passing pedestrians/vehicles using the Right Analog-stick, just like your homies can do during drive-by shootings. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Taxis upgraded

Note: If both enter a car, the passenger will have free aim with a machine gun. Do not try to kill Denise, because you will never be able to date her again or play in two player mode at her house. It will tell you to push any button on the controller two. Do so to start two player mode, involving CJ and his girlfriend in a free roam.
For more fun in two player mode, start the two player mission. Then, enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code and press Triangle to remove the Jetpack. Then, have player two get the Jetpack. Enable the Jetpack code again, then have player one get it. Both players can now fly around and do the two player missions this way.

Go to the Principle's office and taunt the secretary. When she starts to chase you, just run around the desk and continue taunting her (while locked on with L1) for as long as desired. If she grabs you, just tap Triangle(10), or if she is not already irritated, you can just keep apologizing, which also helps your stats. Easy Lola's Race
Before you start the "Lola's Race" mission, get a motorized bike. Drive it to where you start the mission. You will be able to race with the motorized scooter while everyone else in the race has a normal bike. You will go much faster, but the handling is worse.

Fighting multiple opponents
When fighting more than one opponent, sometimes you will get hit from behind. To prevent this, push over as many opponents as you can until there is only one person standing. Beat on him for a short time, then push him over when somebody else gets up. Beat on the person who got up and push them down when others get up. Try to keep as many on the ground as possible while only handling one or two enemies at a time.
Get some itching powder. When you get into a fight, if you need help set your weapon as the itching powder and throw it at one of the people you are fighting. They will start to itch. While they are itching, beat them up. The itching powder should last long enough for you to beat them or at least get their health in the red zone.

Saving others from beatings

Destroying all pumpkins and tombstones
After starting the "Halloween" mission, you can get a bonus for finding and smashing all the pumpkins and tombstones around campus. If you do not find all of them, do not worry. In the next (and last) mission of the chapter, where you go into the basement of the school with Gary, you will get to the boiler room. Inside will be all of the pumpkins you missed in the "Halloween" mission. Kick all of them for an unlockable. Later in the game when you unlock the "Preppie" part of town, go to the asylum. Next to it will be a warehouse, and inside are all of the tombstones you missed.

English Class
The following is a list of the letters you are given in each English Class and the minimum number of words required within the time limit to pass the class:

Endless Summer Chapter
It is possible to finish the game without 100% in all missions. However, if you watch the end credits you will see that Chapter 6, "Endless Summer", has been unlocked, which allows you can do any missions that you may have missed.

Getting in the girls dorm unseen
Unlock the Black Ninja costume by filling the yearbook. Then, go to a wardrobe and change into the Black Ninja costume. Go directly to the girls dorm and walk in. If you look at the map, you will notice that the yellow bar is at 0%. The staff will not see you unless you raise the yellow bar, but the students will.

Girlfriends fight
Kiss one girlfriend then walk slowly until you find another girl you can kiss. You must walk slowly so that the girl you just kissed will follow you. When you kiss the next girl, the two girls will start fighting.

Kissable cheeleaders
All the kissable girls are cheerleaders, except Beatrice (nerd girl), Lola (greaser girl), Zoe (townie girl), and the fat girl. You can see the girls as cheerleaders during the Gym class hour at football camp.

Kissing Kirby
After Chapter 5, you can kiss Kirby the jock.

Kissing Vince
After Chapter 3, you can kiss Vince the greaser.

Trent romance
Get flowers from the girls dorm, then talk to Trent. If you talk to him twice, it will bring up the option to give him flowers. When you do so, the lips will appear and you can kiss him. Note: You must complete the first chapter in order to do this.

Go directly to lesson
If you do not want to walk or run to a lesson, just throw something at the Prefects to get yourself busted. They will then take you directly to the lesson.

Shirts
After defeating a Boss (such as Russell), you can find their shirts in your room.

Recommended costume
Go to a wardrobe where you can change. Put on the school uniform then go to "Head". Switch it from nothing to the mascot head. By doing this you will get good compliments on clothing, and making out time with girls is reduced, which gives you extra time and the health bonus.

See the "Bitch" vomit in "That Bitch" mission
Hide in the trash can behind you after you place the stink bomb in "her" locker. When she does not see you, she will vomit and continue to do so as you make your escape. If she catches you before you hide she will run away screaming.

Galloway's liquor
In the Spencer Shipping Warehouse where you did the "Smash It Up" mission with Zoe, look in the box in the center of the bottom floor. It should read "Liquor for Mr. Galloway".

Student in trash can
After you get busted by a Prefect and must mow 80% of the football field, run up the stairs in between the bleachers. If done quickly enough, there should be a student (usually a nerd) standing half in and half out of the trash can.

Wheelie
While riding a bike, hold the Left Analog-stick Down to perform a wheelie.

Drive flipped Go-Kart
If you flip your Go-Kart upside down you can still drive around with it and you will not fall out.

Bike on your head
Stand on your bike and pass out on it (basic). When you wake up, it will be on your head, and when you move it will float down.

Broken legs
Get some itching powder and a vase/potted plant. Go to a place without a lot of Prefects. Set your weapon to itching powder and pick up the vase/potted plant. Target someone and press R1(2). Their legs should be in a strange position and they will be scratching themselves.

Defeating Rustle
Throw a few fire crackers at him, then get up close and start punching him. Do this until he is defeated.

Hidden areas in Pro Skater
First unlock the Pro Skater level by completing story mode. Then go to free skate. Play around in the level until you get into the large bowl-like area where the aliens are meditating. On one of the walkways in that area, there is an alien that will tell you to activate the red walls on either side of the walkway. They are slightly below eye level. Sticker plant them to activate them. Once both are activated, an intermission sequence showing a gateway opening to the Aztec Temple will appear. Enter the portal and talk to some of the Aztecs. One will tell you not to grind the ropes holding up the giant monkey statue. Grind the ropes, and a secret area in the temple will be unlocked. Another Aztec will tell you that if you paint the five monkey statues, the gods will become angry and you will be sentenced to burn in Hell. Paint the statues and enter the portal that appears. In the back of Hell towards the giant demon face, there is a demon midget. He will tell you to liptrick on the broken ribs on the side of the walkway. The ribs will fall to make two new ramps. Use the ramps and the rail attached to them to sticker plant the Satanic Pentagram symbols. In each of the three areas, there is a portal to both of the other areas -- you just have to find them. Note: Once you quit the level, the open areas will close again. Also, when you reach the hell secret area, jump down the hole in front of you. Get off your board, then walk up to a corner on a ramp. You should be pushed toward the lava and walk on it. You will not be killed. You can look at the monster or walk down the hall with the hands toward a fire wall.

The Natas Spin
To do the Natas Spin, approach an object, such as a trash can, statue, or a pole, while standing on the board. Jump at it and press Triangle while holding R1.

Easy special
Enable the "Infinite rail balance" code. Play in any mode, then pause the game and go to the options. Go to cheat options and turn on "Perfect Rail". This will let you grind perfectly without falling. It will also let you lip and Natas Spin perfectly. Preform a lip trick and begin changing your position (tap Square, Circle, or Triangle twice) in the middle of your lip trick. When doing this, it will only take two or three to get your special bar up.

Easy points
When you need a lot of points, find a trash can or another object and do a Natas Spin on it.

Increasing stats
You must do certain things to get your stats up. For the spin, do spine transfers until you get to one quarterpipe, then go up it; your air time will be high. You can then do 1080 spins. Another way is to enable the "Infinite rail balance" cheat, then find a fountain that is circular (for example, in Berlin). Keep going around, adding tricks. You will get numerous stat points by doing this, including grind for 10 sec., etc. Infinite rail balance is also infinite lip balance, so you can get the lip for 3, 5, etc. sec. stat points as well. If there is something difficult, do twenty grabs in one combo (Story Mode on Sick, and for Air Stat), try to get the other things first, then do it. Look at your stats, and see what is easy and what is not.

Train wreck in Berlin
To cause a train wreck in Berlin, skate over to the bar area. Climb up the large brown building to the third and top ledge. If you follow that ledge over towards the train tracks, there should be a black and yellow bar. Grind it to cause the train wreck. There is also a massive point bonus for this stunt.

Ben Franklin in Boston
Go to the statehouse (the building with the two statues). Go on the right side, where there is a ramp on the building. Go up the ramp and break the glass. You will now be inside the building. Ben Franklin will be in there. Follow him and you will complete the goal, as well as unlock him in any mode.

The Star Wars Kid in Boston
From the starting point, turn right and go to the apartments just before the construction site. Using the quarter pipe on the right side, jump through the window into the room above. You will see the Star Wars Kid and can have him show you his moves.

Man trying to levitate a goat in Boston
Go to where the Star Wars Kid is found, but on the other side. When you enter the area the Star Wars Kid should be on your left. A person on the right will be trying to levitate a goat.

Destroy the construction building in Boston
Light your board on firem then grind on both cannons. An intermission sequence showing the building being destroyed will begin.

Cause an earthquake in L.A.
Grind all the earthquake rails to start an earthquake that makes the highway fall.

Night of the living dead in New Orleans
In order to have the dead walk among you in New Orleans, you must first enter the cemetery and knock all the skulls off the five crypts. Once this is accomplished the game will start an intermission sequence which features a voodoo guy on a tricycle shooting out of the river behind the cemetery and casting a spell that turns the civilians in New Orleans into the living dead. Also, a hole that leads to the underworld is opened up in the center of New Orleans. In order to reverse the spell, do a Spine Transfer (R2) into the hole and grind the circle in the underworld. Keep grinding on it until the game instructs you to jump off. At this point, you will be shot out of the hole. Then, a timer will begin. You must do a grab trick over the statue in the church courtyard. The grab trick you must do is hold Down/Left and press Circle. If this is accomplished, the spell is reversed and everything returns to normal. Note: The dead will not try to hurt you. They just walk and stand around. Once the spell has been activated, you can play as the voodoo guy on the tricycle. He is located in the back of the cemetery.

Spinning bottle in New Orleans
Run through the dumpsters to knock liquor bottles out onto the street. Run over the bottle on the street (by walking) about ten times in a row. By then, the bottle will stay where you ran it to, but will continue spinning.

Cat stays on your head in Skatopia
When the cat gets on your head, if you skate fast enough away, it will be on your skater's head until you go back to the spot where it gets on your head. This also works even when you change skaters.

Easy Bomb Box mission in Skatopia
The easiest way to complete the Bomb Box mission in Skatopia is to Flip Trick onto one of the lower boxes and Caveman the rest in that row. Just jump from box to box after getting off your board, but make sure to do one row at a time.

Manual Down The Mountain goal in Skatopia
First, unlock Bigfoot. Do this by giving Jesse James the chainsaw and find Bigfoot in the cliffs near the billboard that you tag. Switch to Bigfoot and start at the top of the mountain where the old bus is located. Then, start the manual. Because the board is gas powered, you will go zooming down the mountain and will not have to balance for too long. Then, just go out the entrance while manualing and the goal is done.

Rope ride in Skatopia level
Grab on to what looks like a jet pack and it will take you on a very fast rope ride.

Make a phoenix in Spain
Do the "Free The Bull Fighter" goal first. Remember to let the bull lose by throwing tomatoes at it. Next, go to the bridge and jump over the burning car to catch your board on fire and use the catapults to hoist yourself up into the air. Note: The catapult part may require a few attempts.

Open mountain doors in Triangle
When you start, go to the area were all the helicopters are located. One of the helicopters will have missiles on its side. Grind the missiles to blow up two doors on the side of the mountain.

Unlock aquarium in Zoo level
Jump on the house near the elephant then hop on the elephant's back. He will get mad and crush the aquarium door.

R/V halfpipe
To unlock the R/V halfpipe and that mission for your character, play as Jesse James and jump over three cars.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 reference
When customizing your board, go to the "Griptape" section. Scroll through the list, clicking on every single griptape until you reach one with a bat on it. This was the griptape that the demon girl from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 had on her board.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 reference
When you reach the Australia level, go to the fountain. You will find a headless statue near a crane carrying a koala head. This is Kenny the Koala, who was the mascot for the zoo level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4.
